School BoardThe St. Timothy School Board was formed to act in an advisory capacity. Since its formation, the board has been most helpful to the administration and faculty. They have spent many hours working toward the achievement of our mutual goals. The School Board meets once per month during the school year. All regularly scheduled meetings are open. Parents should contact the principal two weeks in advance if you wish to include something on the agenda or to speak at a meeting. The minutes of each meeting are available for your reference in the school office. ResponsibilitiesAs stated previously, the School Board is an advisory body to the principal, working in conjunction with the pastor. The board directs its efforts to the spiritual and intellectual growth and development of the students of the school. This is accomplished by developing and defining the policies which affect the school. The Board is responsible for reviewing the budget annually and the care and maintenance of the school plant. The board may review and make appropriate recommendations or take action on other appropriate items brought to its attention. |
