Philosophy & MissionSt. Timothy School is an active Roman Catholic community dedicated to the education of the whole child. We acknowledge and support the role of parents as the primary educators of their children. Aligned with Archdiocesan curriculum standards and guidelines, St.Timothy School prepares students to think critically, integrate Gospel values, and learn the Church's mission and traditions, as reflected in the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. We promote skills necessary to be productive, contributing citizens in a global society. We involve students in Christian service projects that benefit the school, parish, and larger community. We encourage self-expression through student involvement in the visual and performing arts. We honor our students' achievements and instill a respect for people of all cultures, as well as a concern for the needs of the world. Mission StatementSt. Timothy School is a multicultural Roman Catholic elementary school, inspired by Gospel values, as modeled by Jesus, serving the children of our parish and the neighboring communities. We work in partnership with our school families to create a positive and safe learning environment where students develop their skills as loving Christians, innovative learners, giving citizens, humble students and thoughtful communicators. Non-Discrimination Policy:St. Timothy School, mindful of its mission to be a witness to the love of Christ for all, admits students of any race, color, and national and /or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded to or made available to students at St. Timothy School. St. Timothy School does not unlawfully discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and/or ethnic origin, age, sex or disability in the administration of educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school administered programs. St. Timothy School PrayerDear God,Thank you for all of the wonderful gifts You have given us. In the spirit of St. Timothy, help us use these gifts to become better people in our family of God. Fill our hearts with love for all creation. Help our ears to hear Your Word. Open our eyes so that we may see people in need. Let our hands reach out to help others. Lift our voices in prayer and song to celebrate our faith in You. May Your light shine upon us, guide us in peaceful ways, and bring us closer to You. We ask this through Christ, our Lord, Amen. |
